2019 - Flow of recovered paper

UK production of recovered paper (the amount recovered from businesses and households in the UK) totalled 7.5 million tonnes in 2018 (Table 3.3) a decrease of 3% from 2017. Imports increased by 12% and a exports decreased by 4% between 2017 and 2018, resulting in a 1% fall in apparent consumption over this period (Table 3.3).
