About Luci Corbett
Luci is a soil biogeochemist who joined the Soil Sustainability team at Forest Research in January 2023. She has lead on research projects related to ground preparation, new afforestation, and forest management processes with a focus on soil carbon. She holds an MSc in Environmental Pollution and is currently studying part-time for a PhD at Reading University in forest soil microbiology.
What Luci does
Luci carryies out research projects on the impact of woodland creation and forest management practices on soil health, soil carbon, nutrient sustainability and soil biodiversity to inform climate change mitigation and adaptation policies and practices.
