Forest Research produces price inflation statistics from the sale of timber grown on public land in Great Britain.
Timber Price Indices are based on sales by Forestry England, Forestry and Land Scotland and Natural Resources Wales and consist of the Coniferous Standing Sales Price Index and the Softwood Sawlog Price Index.
Timber price indices is published biannually (data to 31 March published in May and data to 30 September published in November).
