Land manager and woodland creation research summaries published

Scientists at Forest Research have published two new concise guides which bring together the key findings from the woodland creation and expansion programme, plus related work.  

The In Briefs provide a starting point for readers wishing to delve deeper into the research. They signpost towards survey results, interview findings, case studies, and evidence maps. The topics covered include natural colonisation/regeneration, green finance and values. 

“It’s really exciting to see the cumulation of five years of research coming together and themes emerging,” said Dr Stephen McConnachie, Social Scientist at Forest Research. “We hope that these In Briefs will act as easily digestible guides and a good starting place for those interested in finding out more about land managers and woodland creation.”
