This event will explore how software can help us work smarter with data to manage trees more effectively.
Kieron Doick will be speaking on the Individual Tree Data Standard and projects that Forest Research have completed on tree valuation as examples of making the most of tree data.
The Individual Tree Data Standard project was a partnership between Forest Research, the Open University, and Treework Environmental Practice. The Project aimed to establish common-practice principles for data collection for individual trees, and enhance the interoperability of tree survey data collected in towns and cities, through the development and publication of a data standard for individual trees.
