As Laboratory Manager you will manage the tree health diagnostic and research laboratories at Alice Holt (including the ISO17025 accredited containment laboratories), and as appropriate support the equivalent laboratories at our Northern Research Station in Midlothian.

Software Engineer – Carbon Balance Modelling

As a Software Engineer you will increase capacity for forecasting software support at Forest Research and lead the ongoing development and evolution of the Production Forecast System. This will include incorporating new technologies and additional data sources.
