My background lies in ecology and wildlife conservation and I have a particular interest in the use of camera traps for wildlife monitoring. I put this interest to use during my MSc research project when I conducted a camera trap study to document the biodiversity of Bruneian mangrove forests. More recently, I have worked on the WrEN project for University of Stirling and used camera traps to assess the impact of herbivore browsing on natural woodland regeneration.

Having only started with Forest Research in 2023, I look forward to contributing to the understanding of woodland ecosystem services and best management practises. I will be particularly involved in projects investigating natural colonisation and the factors which influence this process.
