We provide a range of resources and services to aid scientists and students in their research.

- Scientific and technical publication A wide selection of technical forestry, research and environmental information.
Research Information Service
The primary users of The Research Information Service are Forest Research (FR) staff to which we provide a full library service. We also operate a loan and copy supply service to the wider Forestry Commission (FC) group and FC students on a case-by-case basis.
Members of the public are welcome with enquiries regarding FC and FR publications and historic archive. They are also welcome to visit the Alice Holt library and consult the book collections if accompanied by FR staff and by prior appointment. However, it is not possible for members of the public to borrow books.
We can however supply copies of articles or book loans to other libraries through the British Library Inter-Library Loan scheme.
