About Maria Stanisz-Migal

Maria joined Forest Research in July 2021. Prior joining Forest Research Maria worked as a technician in Crop and Soil research group at Scotland’s Rural College. She holds MSc in Horticulture and HND in Applied Bioscience.

What Maria does

Maria provides technical support for tree pathology research and diagnostics, specialising in molecular assays including PCR, qPCR, and next-generation sequencing. She is responsible for sample processing, laboratory testing, and methodology development.
