Access to woodlands benefits mental and physical wellbeing. It also increases connection to nature, which can be linked to pro-environmental behaviours.

This Research Note presents findings from literature reviews, interviews, creative workshops,
and a survey of groups that are underrepresented as woodland visitors, focusing on their motivations, the additional barriers they face and what opportunities might support greater woodland access.
