What Linda Marie does

As a GIS Support Officer at Forest Research, Linda manages core Esri systems, enhances GIS workflows, and provides technical guidance that helps colleagues across the organisation make better use of geospatial data.

She leads on several cross departmental initiatives across the Forestry Commission. As part of this work, Linda has produced governance frameworks to help improve data quality, transparency and compliance across cost centres.

Passionate about clear communication and accessible geospatial design, Linda is keen to support researchers and practitioners by creating a collaborative geospatial community within Forest Research. She particularly enjoys developing engaging and accessible ways to share scientific work.
