Monitoring and reviewing the Woodland Stategy

Woodlands for Wales: Progress Report 2001-2005 was published in January 2006. It presents the framework under which the strategy will be monitored and shows progress against the strategy’s objectives over the last five years.

Woodland Strategy Partnership
The Woodland Strategy Partnership is the umbrella under which Forestry Commission Wales manages the implementation of the Woodlands for Wales strategy for trees and woodlands on behalf of the Welsh Assembly Government. Forestry Commission Wales keeps members of the partnership up to date with:

  • Information on events and seminars
  • Updates / changes to the Woodlands for Wales strategy
  • Consultations from time to time
