This year’s Scottish Water science conference is dedicated to catchment focused research and management in drinking water supply catchments. The purpose of the conference is to share the knowledge and insights gained from our research projects, stimulate discussion and debate and give insights into the work of the Sustainable Land Management team.
Speakers will address, using field-based and modelling approaches, several topical water quality issues and how decision support tools derived from this research can be used to inform catchment management and wider evidence-led investment decisions. The day will conclude with a discussion session on future applications of catchment management in the water industry.
Dr Nadeem Shah will present "Investigating the effects of forestry on water quality in drinking water catchments."
