Following on from a recent parliamentary evening roundtable (Nature Connections, June 2019), we want to provide a forum for further exchange of information and ideas between policy, practice and science to progress towards regional and national ecological networks in Scotland.

The event will provide a rich overview of latest activities on the ground and emerging research, with opportunities for discussion and identification of critical gaps and research-into-action needs going forward.

We hope to attract a balanced mix of researchers, planners, policy makers, land manager and conservation professionals. But don't be shy to register if you don't fit these description! The event will be open to anyone interested ecological networks in Scotland.

Until 31 January you can register your interest to attend and present at the event using the booking link above. Places are limited and priority will be given to folk who offer to share their work and experiences.

The event is co-organised with Alison Hester from The James Hutton Institute and Marc Metzger from The University of Edinburgh, in collaboration with ESCom Scotland.
