The contrasting trends among realms, sites, and biodiversity metrics

delivered by Roel van Klink, German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research.

Summary

The decline of insect biodiversity has received a lot of attention in recent years, but much remains unknown regarding the variability in trends among sites and taxa. Roel will present the newest results of his ongoing work on a database of insect time series, and show contrasting trends. This presents not only an interesting puzzle, but also worry and hope.
