Forestry Header Research reveals the origins of destructive tree pathogen Phytophthora ramorum – 1

Chris Pollard will present “A National Conversation: Public perspectives on plant biosecurity” in the session Whose voice counts? Co-designing a biosecure future for positive plant health.

Presenting results of SERG work on plant and tree health in the UK public sphere. Including findings from the National Conversation project, for which 7000 people were surveyed on their knowledge, concerns, and behaviours related to biosecurity and plant and tree health. Ana Perez-Sierra will present “Global participation in biosecurity surveillance” at the same session.

Mariella Marzano will run a side event “Whose voice counts? Co-designing a biosecure future for positive plant health” on the 22nd Sept.

Leone Olivieri will present a poster on ” Establishing a spore trapping network as an early warning to detect plant health threats Welsh woodlands system”
