[EVENT] – Public Perceptions of Urban Trees

What is this seminar about?

This seminar will profile a national survey and focus group research undertaken in England, Scotland and Wales.  It will discuss:

  •  What the public feel about the benefits and dis-benefits of urban trees in different locations
  • How trees should be managed
  • Where new trees should be planted
  • How this might be paid for, and
  • Whether and how the public might take part in the care of trees

The seminar will discuss the findings of statistical analysis which reveals patterns of difference by socio-demographic factors such as age and ethnicity.

This seminar will be of interest to those planning for, and working with trees in a variety of urban environments.
