What was the event?
Festival of woodlands and trees including the ‘Laboratree’ which showcases forestry science.
On Friday 27th August, Forest Research scientists, Andrea Kiewitt, Shelagh McCartan and Matt Parratt displayed and held activities on the ‘weird and wonderful world of tree seeds’.
Matt Parratt also gave a presentation on his recent work on global conifer conservation in Vietnam.

Who was the event suitable for?
Anyone with an interest in trees and woodlands. It was open to the public and there were a range of activities suitable for both adults and children.
