Work Study ReportsReports produced for internal Forestry Commission use but as a service to the forest industry are available to the public while stocks exist. They are normally highly technical and specific to conditions studied and equipment tested. List of reports.
Forestry Commission publicationsPublications produced by the Forestry Commission normally available to the forest industry. Exceptions include publications commissioned from outside the Forestry Commission which the funding agency considers should be restricted. These publications are normally highly technical and specific to conditions studied and equipment tested. - Reports
Fully written-up project results containing background detail and summarised study data in addition to description of work and results. Until 1994 reports were the usual format for project result reporting. - Technical notes (1992-1998)
Technical notes (1999-date) Summarised results from extensive trials or publications related to smaller projects. This format is increasingly replacing Reports. - Information Notes
Short documents relating to minor investigations or are summaries of longer documents. Information Notes are also a means of notifying the industry of developments that may lead to further work.
