Stakeholder views from the Quinquennial Review

As a key part of the Review, over 80 "stakeholders" of Forest Research were requested their views, including:

They were asked generally for their view of Forest Research's performance and to reply as broadly as they wished. More specifically, they were asked:

  • How well they knew Forest Research
  • What their needs were and how Forest Research responded
  • Whether Forest Research 's current objectives were correct
  • Whether there were any service quality issues
  • How Forest Research had changed over the last 4 years.

A news release was issued and reported in the specialist forestry press, inviting comments from members of the public and others with an interest. A similar message was put on the Forestry Commission's website. Almost 60 responses were received.
