Stakeholder views from the Quinquennial Review

As a key part of the Review, over 80 "stakeholders" of Forest Research were requested their views, including:

They were asked generally for their view of Forest Research's performance and to reply as broadly as they wished. More specifically, they were asked:

How well they knew Forest Research
What their needs were and how Forest Research responded
Whether Forest Research 's current objectives were correct
Whether there were any service quality issues
How Forest Research had changed over the last 4 years.

A news release was issued and reported in the specialist forestry press, inviting comments from members of the public and others with an interest. A similar message was put on the Forestry Commission's website. Almost 60 responses were received.
