Visitors to this year’s Smallholders Show at the Royal Welsh Showground on Saturday, 17 May, and Sunday, 18 May, will be able to get free forestry advice from Forestry Commission Wales staff.
Members of the Commission’s Grants and Licences team will be on hand to advise people on what support packages may be available for woodland management under the Better Woodlands for Wales grants scheme. They will also be handing out advice on felling trees within the law.

Forest Research staff will also be present at the FC Wales stall to offer tips on how to look after trees.
