Ecology Division

 

This science division leads and develops the biodiversity, conservation, genetic conservation, native woodlands research, broadleaved tree improvement research within Forest Research.

The work of the division includes landscape and species ecology (Species and Habitat action plans etc.), protection of trees from mammals (deer, squirrels and rabbits) and native woodlands research.
