10th to 12th September 2008 What was the event?A timely conference on planning for an unpredictable future in the face of climate change. Suitable planting plans for public gardens will no doubt be dependent upon local conditions as well as the regional, national and global effects of a changing climate. Collating phenological data on cultivated plants in Britain and Ireland presents us with opportunities to consider possible future scenarios, and to plan accordingly. Topics included:
