Soil quality issues in land regeneration to woodland
South East England Soils Discussion Group (SEESOIL) spring 2008 meeting 5th June 2008 What was the event?Bringing together soil scientists from the south-east of England to share experience and discuss soil issues. The theme of this meeting was to discuss soil quality issues in the process of land regeneration to greenspace. Three sites were visited in London: Thamesmead, Jeskyns Community Woodland and Ingrebourne Hill, all presenting different issues of soil quality, different regeneration schemes and in different stages of the regeneration process. The visits were lead by researchers from the Land Regeneration and Urban Greening Group of Forest Research, Alice Holt, who are carrying research and survey work at the sites. Meeting flier (PDF-52K)
