A global vision of forestry in the 21st Century
30th September to 3rd October 2007 What was the event?The main objective of this conference was to develop a comprehensive Global Vision of Forestry in the 21st Century. The vision will be developed through input from everyone who is concerned with the future state of our global forests, environment, and society. Discussions were organised under three over-arching themes: - Global challenges, responsibilities and leadership in forestry
- Frontiers of science and a healthy and diverse forest environment
- Cultures, markets and sustainable societies.
