Directions to Inver Field Station
The field station is adjacent to the Forest Enterprise (FE) Tay Forest District Office. 
By roadDirections from South- From Perth take A9 for Inverness for approximately 14 miles
- Turn left on the A822 signposted “Crieff”, then immediately take the next right for Inver
- Follow this for half a mile, following the road to the right over the bridge and turn right again about 50yds after bridge
- We are the bungalow on the right as you enter the FE complex.
Directions from North- From the A9 turn right onto the A822 and follow the directions above.
Directions from West- From Crieff follow the A85 signposted “Perth” for 2miles
- Turning left onto the A822 at Gilmerton
- Stay on A822 for approximately 19 miles
- Turning left (see note below) to Inver at small unmarked slip road
- Follow this to the bottom of the hill, turning left over the bridge at the bottom
- Turn right into the FE complex.
Note: the unmarked slip road is easy to miss, if you do miss it: - Continue on the A822 for 1 mile
- Go under the railway line, then turn left for Inver
- Follow this for half a mile, following the road to the right over the bridge and turn right again about 50yds from bridge
- We are the bungalow on the right as you enter the FE complex.
Directions from the East- From Blairgowrie, follow the A923 to Dunkeld
- Drive to the A9 turning right (northwards), then immediately left onto the A822, signposted “Crieff”, then immediately take the next right for Inver
- Follow this for half a mile, following the road to the right over the bridge and turn right again about 50yds from bridge
- We are the bungalow on the right as you enter the FE complex.
By rail- Take train to 'Dunkeld & Birnam Station'
- Then either call for collection or walk north beside A9(T) on the grass verge until the A822 is reached, then follow directions as given for cars.
By bus- Bus stop for Inver is on the A9
- Walk from Inver village on public road toward (south) the caravan/campsite
- Entrance is on the left hand side before caravan/campsite entrance on the right, or crossing the stone bridge over the River Braan.
