24th and 25th November 2006 What was the event?The Mammal Society Annual Winter Meeting. The invasion ecology of mammals: a global perspective. Invasive species pose a considerable threat to biodiversity conservation and the integrity of ecosystems worldwide. This symposium will focus on the impacts on species and ecosystems caused by invasive mammals, and the threats posed to mammal conservation by invasive organisms such as parasites and disease.
