Urban forestry for human health and wellbeing
Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) 2nd Symposium on Urban Forestry, COST E39 2nd Research Conference 28th to 30th June 2006 What was the event?This international conference was based on two ongoing research networking activities: one is ASEM Urban Forestry Symposium, which aims at promoting urban forestry research and cooperation among ASEM countries; the other is COST Action E39 “Forests, Trees, and Human Health and Well being”, which has an interest in health aspects of forest and tree resources. The conference aimed to identify promising approaches and developments of forestry to serve health aspects of urban societies and sustainable urban development.
