Social sciences in resource management: global challenges and local responses
12th International Symposium on Society and Resource Management (ISSRM) 3rd to 8th June 2006 What was the event?This symposium provided an opportunity for social scientists from around the world to present research relevant to natural resource use. The program included three days of academic sessions as well as field trips to West Coast attractions such as the new Gulf Islands National Park and the Resort Municipality of Whistler.
