The goal of this international conference was to meet the challenges of land use changes in and outside Europe by exchanging knowledge and experience on the ecological economical and ethical dimensions of ecological restoration.

Russell Anderson of Forest Research gave a presentation of paper by himself and Andy Peace on the results of two bog restoration experiments.
