Definition of best indicators for land use impacts in life cycle assessment

12th and 13th June 2006

What was the event?

This expert workshop focused on defining any missing relevant impact pathways that are not represented by biodiversity and soil quality, as well as an operational way to implement the indicators for the impact pathways. Special attention was given to the spatial differentiation required for LCIA of land use in different regions of the globe, and possibly the requirements of different 'land-intensive' sectors (e.g. mining; agriculture; forestry; etc).

Workshop programme.

Prof. Jim Lynch, at the time Chief Executive of Forest Research, was on the organising committee for this event.
