A one-day seminar highlighting opportunities for the design and construction of buildings which maximise the use of sustainable Scottish timber and timber products – drawing on work with affordable housing.

Elspeth Macdonald and Andy Kennedy of Forest Research are working with Forestry Commission Scotland to promote use of Scottish timber in sustainable construction.

Who was the event suitable for?

Architects, engineers, housing associations, building contractors, building surveyors and local authority building control and planning teams. It offers seven hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
