Pests and diseases of amenity trees
A workshop to raise awareness of pests and diseases which can affect amenity trees 8th June 2005 What was the event? This workshop began with a morning session consisting of presentations by Forest Research tree pest and disease experts, Dr Nigel Straw and Mr David Rose. They introduced delegates to some of the latest problems facing British trees (e.g. the rising profile of Phytophthora pathogens, and the invasion of a European insect pest, the horse chestnut leaf miner, Cameraria ohridella). T This was followed by a practical afternoon session in one of Milton Keynes’ extensive parks, looking at pests and diseases in situ. View flyer (PDF-279K)
