EU Framework projects in which Forest Research is involved

Background

The current Framework Programme, FP7, runs from 2007 to 2013 and groups its broad objectives into four categories:

  • Cooperation
  • Ideas
  • People
  • Capacities.

All programmes promote scientific excellence and seek to realise the overall objective for the EU to become the "most dynamic competitive knowledge-based economy in the world", as set out in the Lisbon strategy.
