Woodfuel - Getting it right

What was the event?

These two identical one day events were part of the Forestry Commission England’s annual outreach programme and drew on many years of accumulated experience in turning wood fuel ideas into reality. Woodfuel – Getting it Right provided valuable information and demonstrations on some wood fuel production methods to promote further development of wood fuel in the South West.

Programme

The programme covered aspects of specifying, installing and fuelling wood heat installations at a wide variety of scales. A combination of talks from industry experts and site visits to wood fuel production sites was given to provide the complete picture of this increasingly important and cost effective renewable energy source.
