Biometrics, Surveys and Statistics Division

 

This science division leads and develops the mensurational, statistical, forest survey (e.g. the National Inventory of Woods and Trees and remote sensing) and yield modelling work within Forest Research.

The division also provides programming services, co-ordinates data archiving and database management and represents Forest Research on the Forestry Commission IT Service Board.
