What is Tree Doctor?

An interactive PC-based program for tree owners, woodland managers and education to identify the diseases of forest and amenity trees.

Helps you identify the most frequent pathological conditions - caused by insects, fungi, bacteria and abiotic factors through a fast, simple symptom recognition approach.

What can you use it for?

Armed with careful observation of the problem you can use Tree Doctor to:

  • Identify nearly 460 of the most frequent diseases and pests affecting 49 of the most widespread tree genera in the UK and other European countries
  • Achieve a more accurate diagnosis/answer in a faster time
  • Perform the diagnostic process by simulating the careful questioning of an expert

Tree Doctor can also:

  • Allow professionals to improve and assess their skills in the determination, treatment and prevention of disorders in ornamental and forest trees
  • Provide teachers, students and training specialists with an educational tool
  • Enable those involved with managing the health of trees to make speedy and accurate diagnoses
  • Help in the creation of the first stages of a European database on tree species and their disorders.
