Salary in the range of £20,242 – £25,909 and benefits. Pay Award pending.1 year Fixed Term Appointment, extension of the contract, conversion to permanency or transfer to another part of the civil service is possible although there is no guarantee.You'll help with the development and delivery of the Forest Kindergarten programme in Central Scotland, particularly the Local Woods for Learning education strategy. You’ll be required to engage with educational and forestry groups. Duties include partnership working with councils to source funding for Forest Kindergarten leader training, organising and promoting teacher training events and advancing Forest Kindergarten activity through talks, articles and press coverage. You’ll have experience of pre five education delivery, utilising the outdoors for educational purposes and/or at least 5 Standard Grades or equivalent grades 1 –3, including English and Maths. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence is required.
