The Tweed Valley Bike Patrol (TVBP) is an exciting, innovative volunteering opportunity at Britain’s favourite mountain biking venue, providing visitors to Glentress forest with the advantages of local knowledge, bike repair skills and emergency assistance from a team of skilled riders.

Tweed Valley Bike Patrollers provide advice and assistance to riders at GlentressWe’re looking for volunteers to join this rewarding scheme and become the eyes and ears of Forestry Commission Scotland mountain bike rangers.

To join the patrol, all you need is a mountain bike, some spare time and lots of enthusiasm.  Everything else can be provided during your training. You’ll not be expected to become an expert overnight - just to use your energies and enjoy developing your skills!
